I value and respect your privacy and therefore your personal data is processed only in accordance with applicable law (GDPR, TKG 2003). This privacy policy page is meant to inform you on the most important aspects of the processing of data that is performed via this website (

Correspondence with me
If you choose to contact me via a contact form on this website or via e-mail, the data you provided will be kept for up to twelve months for the purpose of our correspondence and for later reference. I won’t give away this data without your consent unless I’m required to do so by law.

This website uses cookies. Cookies are little text files that are stored on your device with the aid of your browser. They won’t harm your machine. They are used to improve the usability of this site. Some of the cookies might stay on your device until you actively delete them. They allow this website to recognize your browser on the next visit.
If you don’t want cookies to be stored on your device you can change the cookie-setup in the settings section of your browser. If you deactivate the usage of cookies on this website you might restrict its functionality.

Spam protection (reCAPTCHA)
To protect this site, its input forms, forums, and other interactive elements, from spam and unwanted content I use a service called “reCAPTCHA” provided by the company Google LLC. This service is used to determine whether an input to this site originates from a human or a machine (e.g. a spam bot).
To do so, the service collects information about you and your behavior. To my knowledge this includes: IP-address, referral URL, information about your operating system, browser, cookies, scripts, your behavior on this site and the time you spend on it, and your behavior around the reCAPTCHA-checkbox.
In case you are logged in to your Google-account while using the reCAPTCHA-plugin, your IP-address might be used by Google to connect your data from and your behavior on this site to other data Google already collected via your Google-account. If you don’t want that to happen, please log out of your account before using the plugin. Google might also use the gathered information to digitalize books and other texts and to optimize its services, like “Google Street View” and “Google Maps”. The usage of the collected data is subject to Google’s privacy policy. You can find it at:

If you want to register for the forum of this website, your e-mail address is needed to identify you as a user of an account and to enable you to choose and reset a password. Your e-mail address will only be used in connection with your forum related activities (for example to send you news about a new post on a topic you have subscribed to). On the profile page of your account you also have the option of providing additional information about yourself. This information will also be visible to other visitors of the website.
You can delete your account anytime via your account profile on the website. Alternatively, please send me an e-mail with your request to the following address: I’ll take care of it as soon as possible.

On my website, you can choose to subscribe to my newsletter. For this, you have to provide your e-mail address and confirm that you agree to the receipt of newsletter mails. Once you have subscribed to the newsletter service, I will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm the registration. You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. This works directly via a link in the footnote of any received newsletter e-mail. Alternatively, please send you cancellation request to the following e-mail address: I will delete the data that is related to the newsletter service as soon as possible.
I’m using a third-party service for the distribution of the newsletter. This service is provided by SendinBlue, a company with headquarters in France. SendinBlue is also required to comply with the GDPR and their respective privacy policy can be found at:
